The Charles M. Bair Family Museum’s goals are to inspire, to create opportunities, to guide discovery and learning and to expand our dialogue with history; these were the cherished aims and foremost desires of Marguerite Bair Lamb and Alberta Monroe Bair. The house museum embodies the essence of the family’s history and their day-to-day lives. The art museum provides the conservation environment for the family’s paintings, Native American objects and photographs. The Bair family’s legacy contributes in perpetuity to the cultural, educational and historical fabric of Montana and its citizens.
