From May 28-August 31, 2015 the Bair Family Museum presented the exhibition “Chiefs and Warriors,” featuring eighteen photogravure images by Edward S. Curtis. Curtis published the 20 volume ethnographic series The North American Indian between 1907 and 1930 with the intent to record traditional Indian cultures. The work is comprised twenty volumes of narrative text and photogravure images. The Bair Museum Collection consists of over 180 photogravures from Volumes 1 through 5 and the accompanying portfolios.  Chiefs and Warriors displayed historic portraits from the Bair Collection of Chief Plenty Coups, Geronimo, Red Cloud, Two Strike, Medicine Crow and other notable Native American leaders
